Sumela Monastery Tour from Trabzon

We meet in front of our agency at 10:00 am and start our journey with our vehicles. After about 1 hour into the journey, we stop Maçka city centre to make some activities and dringking tea.Then we visit Sumela Monastery which is located in Altındere National Park of Maçka district. Founded in the 4th century A.D. by two monks from Athens, the monastery was built on a steep cliff on the outskirts of Karadağlar, 1300 meters above sea level. After visiting our next stop, Aya Varvara Church (Kızlar Monastery Church), we take a photo break in one of the fastest flowing waterfalls of the world, Karadağ Waterfall.Then we ve free time in Çoşandere rivers and lunch time .Our departure time 02:00PM.
